📖 About the Scheme
VB-G RAM G is a scheme that provides 125 days of guaranteed employment to rural families in a financial year through the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (MGNREGS). Along with increasing employment opportunities, the scheme also gives importance to water conservation, rural infrastructure development, greening, and activities to address climate change.
⚙️ Various Services
Employment Guarantee
The employment guarantee for rural families has been increased from 100 days per year to 125 days.
Improved Wages
The minimum daily wage has been increased to ₹401. Wages are directly credited to the bank account through DBT.
Agricultural Sector
A mandatory 60-day break is allowed for sowing and harvesting.
Technology
Monitoring using biometric attendance, GPS, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Water Conservation
Water security projects including renovation of ponds, streams, and canals.
Greening
Tree planting, environmental protection, and rural green development.
Infrastructure
Rural roads, livelihood facilities, and climate-resilient development activities.
Job Card
Employment is guaranteed by issuing job cards to eligible workers.
